The Role:

As a front end developer you will work closely with the front end, mobile, API and UX team working across a range of high traffic, public facing digital products. Working across a range of delivery streams  you will be developing new user-facing features, refactoring existing code and designing mobile based features.

About You:
You are passionate about the UI and have a great eye for detail. You have proven experience working on similar public facing digital products. You are not too precious and happy to get stuck in the back-end PHP code if needed.  

What you already need to know well:

  • 5yrs front end development

  • Extensive HTML5, CSS3 and

  • Strong Vanilla Javascript skills

  • Ajax, LES, SASS, Gulp, Grunt

  • Proven experience unit testing

  • Cross browser compatibility

  • Desirable NOT mandatory – PHP/Symfony experience

IT Project Manager - Cloud (Ref# SITS-02050419)

The Role:

Our client, a high profile government department, is embarking on major technology projects that will transform it and continue its significant technology transformation in a number of areas including Cloud. 

As the Senior I.T. Project Manager, you will be managing the IT cloud initiatives and projects, working closely with other key stakeholders, and be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, liaising with stakeholders from senior management to hands on delivery.

 

About You:

  • Minimum of 8 years application project management delivery experience, with involvement in large, business critical systems being highly regarded.

  • Prior software development, structured analysis and design or business analysis experience highly regarded

  • Understanding of DevOps methodology, principles and approaches is desirable.

  • Knowledge of and experience with managing projects designed to deliver modern cloud and environment automation technologies and approaches like AWS/Azure, Linux/Windows, CI/CD tools and technologies is desirable.

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) knowledge, including Foundation Level Version 3 training is desirable.

  • Experience in managing delivery of foundational infrastructure required for cloud adoption, e.g. network, security, infrastructure in AWS and Azure cloud environments.

  • Experience in successful delivery of cloud projects requiring complex software, infrastructure and platform workload migrations.

  • Experience in managing cloud consultants, architects and SMEs from leading cloud and hosting vendors such as Microsoft and AWS and any of their partners/resellers

  • Experience in management of complex business stakeholder relationships especially in the context of driving organisational change through adoption of cloud-based capabilities.
